Novelists usually work by a process of drafting. They write straight through to a 1st draft. Then they change the things they don’t like in the 2nd draft, and iterate into a 3rd, etc. Drafting is a linear process. Plotting, also sometimes called ‘blocking,’ is used by script writers to establish economical scene flow.

If things shift, change, distort or otherwise look a little different that’s because I’m doing a little cleaning around here. My sidebar was loading way too slow so I had to get rid of a ton of junk, including my vanity. Also added a WordPress Popularity Contest plugin, which collects stats on each post and ranks them by percentage of most popular.
I aplogize in advance if any dust bunnies fly in your face. I’m kickin’ up a storm over here.
Got any spring projects in mind?
I’m completely rebuilding my main site, adding features, writing new copy, etc. All in preparation for the GDC.
Speaking of which, are you planning on going this year?
I won’t be going.
Ah well. Given the number of events in your area, we’re bound to meet at some point!
My new site is pretty new. My cleaning will be more of a real life sort of thing.
I’ve moved things around on my blog a bit. Nothing major at the moment. I don’t want to freak readers out with too much of a redesign!

Ugh, we had to clean up our sidebar recently…some blogs closed up shop, some hadn’t had a new post in over a year…it’s a tough gig.
